About me

Roger Winter is originally from Wales and emigrated to New York City in 1967 to work for the British Diplomatic Service.

Later, he partnered with Richard Hall, a fine arts professor at Pratt Institute, to form Hall and Winter Ltd. During the 1980's and 1990's Roger and Richard became well known for selling high quality English and American antiques throughout the northeast region.

Richard retired in 1999 and Roger went on to form Roger D. Winter, Ltd. He now focuses his expertise on 18th and early 19th century British furniture and decoration with an emphasis on period dining furniture.

Based in Bucks County Pennsylvania, Roger exhibits at a number of major antique shows around the country. He maintains a showroom and warehouse where clients may visit by appointment.

Roger's pieces can be found in fine homes, museums and collections throughout the US. As a member of the Antiques Council all items are guaranteed as authentic. If a client is not fully satisfied, returns are accepted.
