Lantaka Shipboard Cannon

This swivel rail cannon was made in foundries in Malacca and Pahang and used on small merchant boats to ward off pirates. The cannon barrel has a one inch bore. and is mounted on wood swivel wheeled base which was replaced at some point. Condition good, the bronze decorated, the cannon with oxidization typical of its age
